The popular takeaway has earned a great reputation in the local area for its excellent food and service. Kebab Master offers a great choice from the ever-popular Doner Kebab to juicy burgers and chicken and chips.

Kebab Master first opened in Whyteleafe 15 years ago but the present owner, Yusuf Buyukertas, took over nearly two years ago when the business was being hit by the recession. Since then Yusuf has built Kebab Master back up to a bustling local takeaway. Yusuf puts the turnaround in business down to the level of service he and the rest of the team offer their customers. Yusuf said: "Apart from selling excellent quality food, I think our success is down to the way we handle our customers. We are always cheerful, but that is because we are happy in our work. I love my job!"

Kebab Master has lots of regular customers, and they all have their own favourite choices.

"The Chicken Shish Kebabs and Lamb Doner Kebabs are what we sell the most of but they are all pretty popular," said Yusuf.

Other kebab choices are the Kofte Kebab (spiced and seasoned lamb cooked on a skewer), Mixed Kebab (shish, doner and kofte kebab meat and three pieces of chicken) and the Master Special Grill (shish, doner and kofte kebab meat, vegetables, chicken cooked on a skewer and slices of lamb doner and chicken doner - plenty for two!) Kebab Master recently introduced Chicken Wraps and Doner Wraps costing just £3.60 which, Yusuf said, are selling very well.
