2012 promises to be a very exciting year, with so much to celebrate. This summer sees the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the Olympics and a fabulous line-up of events at the Caterham Festival. To add to the excitement, there will be the 'Caterham F1 team' cars on the grid this Formula 1 racing season.

2012 is set to be a good year for The Caterham and District Independent as well, thanks to all our great advertisers and other supporters in the community. The result is that the paper is continuing to grow – a recent survey by Tandridge District Council showed that although the readership of other local papers has fallen by an average of 7.5%, the readership of The Caterham and District Independent has increased over the last year by 9%!

From February we will be focussing on the Olympics, with articles of local interest during the run-up to the games in August.
