Approximately 4,000 people attended the Caterham Round Table Firework Display last month which was held at the Dene Field in Church Road, Caterham-onthe- Hill. A dry, clear evening and the promise of a fabulous display attracted the crowds, many of them taking part in the torchlight procession along the High Street led by drumming band 'Drumpelskiltskin'.

The torches were also put to good use by a juggler who entertained the crowd before lighting the huge bonfire decorated with guys made by local children.
