Residents warned of car thefts

Some time between Wednesday 8^th and Thursday 9^th August a Nissan Sunny car was stolen from Gordon Road in Caterham. Another Nissan, this time a Micra, was stolen from outside a house in Hillbury Road in Whyteleafe on 9^th September. Caterham police are warning the owners of older cars to take extra precaution when securing their cars as they are more easily broken into by thieves. The cars are not believed to have been used in connection with any other crimes in the area.
