There was no change in control after the Tandridge District Council elections on Thursday 6 May.

Of the 42 seats, Conservatives hold 33, Liberal Democrats 8 and there is 1 Independent. The turnout of voters was high at 71.63%.

The count was held on Friday 7 May and Returning Officer and Chief Executive, Stephen Weigel, declared all the results by 12.10pm.

The Conservatives held the following 13 seats:

¡ Bletchingley & Nutfield - Tony Elias

¡ Burstow, Horne & Outwood - Peter Bond

¡ Dormansland & Felcourt - Michael Sydney

¡ Godstone - Rosemary Thorn

¡ Harestone - Beverley Connolly

¡ Limpsfield - John Pannett

¡ Lingfield & Crowhurst - Brian Perkins

¡ Oxted North & Tandridge - David Weightman

¡ Oxted South - Barry Compton

¡ Queens Park - Rod Stead

¡ Warlingham West  - Glynis Whittle

¡ Westway - Eithne Webster

¡ Whyteleafe - Sakina Bradbury

The Liberal Democrats held the following seat:

¡ Warlingham East, Chelsham & Farleigh - Simon Morrow

Leader of the Council, Councillor Gordon Keymer, said: "Such a high turnout reflects the importance our residents put on voting at local elections and the keen interest they take in local issues and in Tandridge District Council's services."
